Hibernation and New Year of the Rooster

In this cold weather my studio goes arctic and only my little space heater keeps my fingers from freezing off as I paint.  After a two month break to mosaic tile and paint the walls of an addition on my home I am back to work. Wondering how to respond as an artist to the current political state of our country. Still in my mind letting what is needed come from a silent place. Meanwhile I just finished a memorial piece of my little Rooster for Valkarie Gallerys Year of the Rooster Show.I have work up at Valkarie in the members gallery as well as at the Apple Spa in Denver. I think that's a mac place- not a fruit massage parlor.
